Teal Skies

So before i begin this post, i must apologise for my absence. i have been so caught up with exams that i have not had time to tend to my blog. So, this post is going to be a bit of what you could call a "sneaky peek" at my full Personal Style post. Recently i have been loving the blue skies and sunshine, it seems to be rather inconstant in england but its a nice reminder that the height of summer is approaching, when you can spend days on your bicycle around the city, a chance to wear florals and pretty dresses, have campouts, go long boarding and just generally have a lovely time. So my style is very much inspired by Summer, although i love winter I'm very much a summer person. i love wearing dresses and sandals, or even just an old pair of converse or vans which are amazingly practical for the summer. I suppose my style is inspired by Bohemian sort of tribal roots, i don't really dress up special every day. Most days i seem to throw on an oversized t-shirt and jeans.. although i do really like dressing up, i also love being casual and chill. These are some of the items from my personal style post. A lot of my clothes are Topshop, just warning you .. :)

oh so cambridge..

instagram hype. rowing. is. rather.awesome

So May, the month of beauty, nature and growth... well summer may have finally hit england!..  the past couple days have been beautiful.  This morning i woke up early to hit the river, hence the rowing photograph.. ( i went rowing if you haven't already gathered) apart from the painful blisters all was good.  so since this morning i cycled down to one of the green commons.. with my friends in the inconsistent sunshine.. we sat chilled, had grass fights and ate sushi and thai food.. last night i also took my camera outside as the sun was low and it was beautiful. Before I forget i will have a personal style post coming up very shortly! i hope you all had a lovely week, and enjoy the rest of weekend. and thank you to this libby, for mentioning me on the her blog ^_^

these are the days when you cannot be bothered to even attempt your homework, and all your concerned about is how much chocolate cake is left. So today i have lounged around, listened to music, made a film of skiing memories on my mac.. and well.. done nothing really practical.  . . however i did get my camera out and take some photos.. ( the photographs outside were taken yesterday )

Rainy Days...

droplets..

So in England at the moment we are experiencing the most strange and also inconvenient weather. This time last year i found my self running around in the meadows and eating strawberries.. also laughing at my dad who had fallen in the river from a punting mishap. ( i can ensure you, he was not hurt in any shape or form although he was laughed at by a group a chinese tourists )  I read so so much at this time of year so i thought i would share with you my top recent/ and not so recent favourite reads! ( this was incredibly difficult for me to decide, as i love them all )

1.  unfortunately nothing has beaten my all time favourite The Great Gatsby written by F. Scott Fitzgerald
2.  Im so so so incredibly obsessed and infatuated with THE HUNGER GAMES.. a must read if you haven't already!
3.  Another old favourite Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
4.  Only recently have i actually read this book but Before I Die written by Jenny Downham is beautifully written book
5. My mum first showed me this book a few years back and i love it a lot, How to kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
